Colorectal Cancer, the Second Most Common Cause Of Cancer Death Can Be Stopped Before It Starts

The Center for Disease Control recently reported that new cases and deaths from colorectal cancer have sharply declined as a result of more people being screened. Unfortunately, one-third of adults between 50 and 75 are still not current with the recommended colorectal cancer screening. Colorectal cancer screening can detect precancerous polyps so they can be removed before cancer develops.
