He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and his medical degree from Uniformed Services University at the campus of National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed Military Medical Center. He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. He served for 17 years in the United States Air Force and 5 years as chief of the department of gastroenterology at the 673rd Medical Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson prior to his transition to private practice. He enjoys all aspects of Gastroenterology and Liver care and understands the complexities and challenges that long-term gastrointestinal disorders can cause. He is committed to providing compassionate and cutting-edge medical care. Growing up in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, he developed a passion for the outdoors. This passion ultimately led him to Alaska where he enjoys all that it provides. His wife and five children keep him busy with their many activities and hobbies.
