Alaska Digestive and Liver Disease is pleased to announce that Martin P. Kaszubowski, M.D. will be joining the practice of Dr. Daryl M. McClendon, Dr. Jeffrey W. Molloy, and Dr. Austin T. Nelson in August 2020. Dr. Kaszubowski is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California Los Angeles and his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. After completing his Transitional Medicine Internship at Bethesda, Maryland, he completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Kaszubowski has served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. During this time he was stationed at several bases across the country and served two tours in Afghanistan as a Flight Surgeon with Combat Search and Rescue. In 2014, he transitioned to practice gastroenterology at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson with the 673rd Medical Group and became the chief of Gastroenterology in 2018.
Dr. Kaszubowski is passionate and dedicated to high-quality medical care for patients with all types of digestive and liver disorders. He has a particular interest in inflammatory bowel and liver disease. Although he is originally from Southern California, he has become an enthusiastic Alaskan outdoor adventurer and enjoys spending his time hiking and photographing the natural beauty of Alaska with his wife and two sons.
