Dr. McClendon is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterological Association.  He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch.  After completing his internal medicine residency, he remained on staff as the Chief of Residents before completing his fellowship training in gastroenterology.

After completing his Internal Medicine residency, he remained on staff as the Chief of Medical Residents before completing his fellowship training in Gastroenterology.

Dr. Nelson is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and his medical degree from Uniformed Services University at the campus of National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed Military Medical Center.  He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.  He served for 17 years in the United States Air Force and 5 years as chief of the department of gastroenterology at the 673rd Medical Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson prior to his transition to private practice.

Terri Tope is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska. She has a particular interest in colon cancer prevention, gastrointestinal motility disorders, liver problems, and IBS. She enjoys the beautiful Alaskan outdoors. She and her family fill their free time golfing, flying, snow-machining, and hiking around Alaska. Appointments with her do not require a referral.  Read More
